We pulled into San-sur-Mer harbor on Thursday, 15 August 2024.   (The 14th was a sea day.)  The San-sur-Mer harbor is a large natural harbor shared by other cities such as Toulon.  I still was not fully recovered, so I stayed on the ship and shot the harbor from the deck of the Wind Surf.
The staff onboard were so incredibly helpful and nice.  The receptionist on duty was from Peru.  You'll see later that this lady can dance and do incredible gymnastics.
Room service is important when you feel sick.  This is another home run for Windstar.  Not only was the food very delicious, and it was always hot.  Some cruise lines don't even serve hot food in the dining room.  I was getting hot food in my room.
Notice I have 4 poached eggs.  Well, an order is two poached eggs, so when I ordered two pooched eggs, that is what I got, two orders of two.  Oh well, they were good, and they were hot.
It is interesting and ironic that the ship was launched as the Lafayette, then the name was changed to Club Med, and then finally Wind Surf.
