Departed Lafayette on 2/29/24 and arrived Bali on 3/2/24. Was met by David Metcalf's driver, Nyomar and drove to Ubud Vally Resort for first two nights.

FLIGHTS
Departed Lafayette on 2/29/24 for a 1.5-hour flight to Dallas on American Airlines.  Had a seven-hour layover in American Airline's first-class lounge.  Then flew to Doha, Qatar on Qatar Airways for 15 hours.  Had a three-hour layover in Qatar Airline's first-class lounge.  Bought a VISA at immigration and met my driver, Nyoman, a top-notch driver and interesting person.  Two-hour drive to the Ubud Valley Resort.

UBUD VALLEY RESORT
The resort couldn't be nicer.  The staff was friendly and so very caring.  The food was excellent with a large selection to choose from.  The resort is so much more personable and customized than the expensive resorts two and three times the cost.  I loved my stay with these kind, caring people and highly recommend it as the best choice in Bali.
