Civitavecchia is the port city for Rome, about one hour away by car. I arranged for David Locke's driver to pick me up and I felt like royalty being chamfered around Rome. What struck me most about Rome was that every corner was different. Yo might see a building 10 years old or you might see a building 2000 years old. It was stimulating. I saw so many things, I wish I had written them all down. The Vatican, the coliseum, and other antiquities stood out in my mind the most. One could spend weeks in Rome and not see it all. It was one of the highlights of the trip.
